3223 - Voyage LP (Anomalía Ediciones, 2021)
For their latest release, 3223 presents us with a full-length record in which they have kindly managed to combine their technical ambitions (“Teheran”) with a melodic side that’s more developed than in previous publications (“Ardid”, “Los Ángeles”), an exuberant piece of art regarding arrangements and details which doesn’t get tedious or inaccessible for those who don’t usually go down the paths of experimental music. Without giving up the virtuosity that characterizes them, the Rosario trio seems to have left the prog airs of Ouroboros, their first LP, a little behind. Nevertheless, attentive listeners will be able to grasp the links between the two records; take "I" and "Oda I" for example.
